This spectacular car is a 1956 Buick Station wagon that went for sale in a Barrett-Jackson Auction a few years ago. As you can see from the pictures it has been extensively modified to every part of the vehicle.

It was a 4 door and now it’s a 2 door. The modifications took 2 years and thousands of man hours to complete but I think you’ll agree that it was worth it.

The modifications include a tuned 455 Oldsmobile engine that has been fitted to a turbo 400 transmission delivering the power to the road through a 9 inch Ford rear axle.

The body is painted in Chromealusion Blasberry Indigo paint on top Manhattan Beige bottom with pinstriping applied by hand. The door handles have been shaved off, the hood has been decked, the headlights have been replaced with those from a VW Beetle and the rear lights are from a Packard.

The car now sits on air suspension allowing it to maintain a very low stance but a comfortable ride. Fitted to each corner are 22 inch spinner wheels.

Inside the car it has been fitted with an Ididit steering column, power windows and a Billet steering wheel. The dashboard has been populated with a set of Dakota Digital Gauges which are complemented by the center console which runs down the length of the car. The interior trim is covered with Manhattan Beige Leather with custom hand-crafted inserts and graphics to match the outside.

Fully custom, fully awesome.
