Since the invention of the wheel, humans have been experimenting with different modes of transportation. Some of the ideas have been great, while others are… let’s just say unique!

While you are probably familiar with some of these modes of transportation such as the Zeppelin, you might be surprised to hear that concepts such as flying saucers were actually put into development!

There are inventions we will probably never see during our lifetime. Long before Back to the Future at the beginning of the 20th century in fact, there were a lot weird-ass experimental vehicles that sadly no longer exist because of trifling matters such as the Earth’s gravity and the fact that the human body couldn’t really adapt to flying with this contraption.
