Reborn, Supercharged 800Hp 2017 Yenko Camaro Is The Ultimate Street Fighter

Yenko Chevrolet built a variety of customized muscle cars back in the 60s and 70s, but the most well-known is the ultra-powerful Yenko Camaro.
Now in the spirit of those awesome Camaros, Specialty Vehicle Engineering (SVE) introduces the 2017 Yenko/SCTM Camaro. Only 50 of these Limited Edition Specialty Vehicles will be built and with an 800 horsepower supercharged 416 C.I.D. LT-1 powerplant, they’ll go fast…literally!

The heart and soul of the 2017 Yenko/SC Camaro is SVE’s Supercharged, custom-built 416 C.I.D. (6.8L) LT-1 Engine. The Yenko/SC Camaro package lifts the output of the LT1 engine from 455 horsepower to an incredible 800 horsepower, while torque rises from 455 to 750lb-ft – increases of 345 horsepower and 295lb-ft of torque. This powerhouse motor features a blueprinted LT-1 aluminum block, computer-balanced rotating assembly including race-quality forged 4340 steel crankshaft and H-beam rods, forged aluminum pistons, CNC ported and polished LT-1 cylinder heads, and a custom supercharger, utilizing an upgraded fuel system and injectors.

Three Yenko crest body badges, along with engine cover, hood cowl, deck lid, and brake calipers badges are included. The Yenko Camaro also gets 20-inch wheels, SVE headrests, fancy floor mats, and a few extra goodies. If he were still alive, Don Yenko would’ve been proud to see his name on such a beastly machine.

This package is available with any 6th generation Chevrolet Camaro SS, including both the automatic and manual transmissions. The pricy package starts at $40,000 for the upgrade and doesn’t include the cost of the donor car, which should just about double the price.
