Shelby Unveils 750Hp 2017 F-150 Super Snake Street Truck

Need a 750-horsepower street legal muscle truck? If so, you should know that Shelby American is not only offering an F-150-based performance pickup truck equipped with a V8, but one supercharged to the tune of 750 horsepower!

“True to Carroll Shelby’s philosophy, it has more power, more sound, more styling and more handling prowess,” said Vince LaViolette, Shelby American vice president.

Buyers will be able to choose whether they want two-wheel or four-wheel drive, though even with the latter the vehicle isn’t intended for off-road use. Shelby is quick to point out that the F-150 Super Snake is a “street-oriented” truck.

Standard equipment include 22-inch chrome wheels with 305/45 R22 performance tyres, fender flares, active front fender vents, Shelby striping and badging, painted tonneau cover, dark-tinted windows, Shelby carpet floor mats, and Super Snake embroidery on the head rests.

Other features include a Borla dual-exhaust system, Shelby suspension tune, a carbon-fibre intake tube, Honeycomb racing grille and a dual-intake ‘Ram Air’ hood.

“The ‘Shelby Super Snake’ badge carries tremendous prestige because every vehicle that wears it represents the pinnacle of performance,” said Gary Patterson, Shelby American President.

Shelby will build just 150 examples of the F-150 Super Snake for 2017, each priced from $96,880. That price includes a 3-year/36,000-mile warranty as well as entry into Shelby’s official registry.
