The F-250 MegaRaptor makes the Ford F-150 Raptor look like a cute puppy.
We’ve already know that the Ford F-150 Raptor is nothing to play with. But when it comes to badassery, there’s always room for better. Or larger. Or wider. Or higher.
Or the F-250 MegaRaptor.

In order to get the tires to fit, F250R installs a 4-inch lift kit, as well as a set of Bilstein 5100 shocks. Heavy-duty ten-lug patterns are fitted all around to accommodate the wheels. The front axle is then moved forward for better clearance.

Suspension, wheels, and tires aside, the biggest thing to set the MegaRaptor apart is the 6.7 liter Powerstroke diesel V8 and its 440 horsepower and 925 lb-ft of torque. If that isn’t enough, an optional exhaust package moves the needle all the way up to 580 horsepower and 1,175 lb-ft of torque.
F250R offers more options to walk through, such as adding more off-road-style lighting, push bumpers, and anything else you think would take your MegaRaptor to the next level. The customization options on these trucks are endless, so depending on your specific needs, the price can be endless, as well.
Pricing starts at $28,000 without the donor vehicle. A stripper model F-250 starts at $32,535, meaning without any options on either the truck or the kit, you’re looking at a $60,535 rig. Start adding some of the options from both Ford and F250R and you could easily eclipse $70,000-80,000.There you have it folks. If you’re in need of a heavy duty desert crawling truck, and F-150 Raptor simply doesn’t cut it for you, look no further. MegaRaptor should do the trick.
