Ken Block vs BJ Baldwin Battle BROyale! When Bros Become Foes.
Ken Block and BJ Baldwin might be off-road racing buds in real life, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t a measure of rivalry between the two superstars. –
Team Hoonigan create a new exciting video dubbed “Battle BROyale,” showcasing the Can-Am Maverick X3 by putting Ken Block up against BJ Baldwin in their ultimate Battle Broyale through an abandoned desert neighborhood.
Two three-driver teams of skilled pilots do battle in three head-to-head races through different environments for off-road glory. Hoonigan guru Ken Block captains one team with Ryan Kibbe and Justin Oquendo, while BJ Baldwin anchors the other squad featuring Chris Forsberg and Dustin Jones, and like the Highlander, there can be only one winner. –
The Can-Am Maverick X3 is the kind of vehicle that begs to be driven mercilessly, and that’s because it can easily take the punishment. These really tough “mosquitos” come with turbocharged 900cc three-cylinder engines producing 154 horsepower that can be sent to all four wheels on demand. They also have “mad travel, yo,” which will shortly become apparent in the video. If you’re the numbers kind of guy, “mad” would equal 20 inches on both front and rear axles.
“Battle Broyale: When Bros Become Foes” is divided into three segments, with Ryan and Chris competing in Race 1: Urban Paradise. Race 2: Desert Oasis features Dustin and Justin, while the tie-breaking Race 3 comes down to BJ and Ken themselves.
We won’t spoil the ending by telling you who wins, but conveniently, the video is embedded below.
