The Raybestos Camaro RS is all go with plenty of show! Actually, this is not RS Camaro. RS logo is actually a “Raybestos Sport” – that is what it really means. The 700+ horsepower Schwartz-modified, GM LS3 V8 engine with SLP supercharger, is a real beast but it also has plenty of style.
Behind the LS3 is a Tremec T56 Magnum 6-speed manual transmission using an American Powertrain “Science Friction” clutch/flywheel & Hydramax hydraulics kit. The combo is good for 11.8-second e.t.’s at 127 mph on street tires. Throw some slicks on it, and this is a solid 10-second machine. The Raybestos ’71 Camaro RS was painted by The Paint Spot in Addison. They resurrected the look of the ’75- 80 Camaro RS paint scheme; the hood and roof were painted satin black. The Forgeline RB3C wheels are powdercoated satin black with a gloss red lip to match the paint; this beast is a true beauty. All we can say is, WOW! The gang at Schwartz Performance did a great job bringing this year’s build to life. The Raybestos RS Camaro is the perfect combination of beauty and brawn. Take a look at the photos and judge for yourself.Schwartz Performance has really outdone themselves, the Raybestos Camaro RS is quite a car! She’s the perfect combination of performance and style. All we can say is, well done Jeff Schwartz, well done.
