Brutal Twin-Turbo Dodge Viper TA by Racing Solutions

What do you do when your SRT Viper TA just doesn’t have enough power for you? You send it to the guys over at RSI Racing Solutions to build the world’s first Twin Turbo Viper, right?

This snake has the RSI Twin Turbo 1000 package featuring the RSI / John Reed Racing Motec M1 with full integration, with traction control, boost by gear and flex fuel options making 1042 RWHP at 9.5 PSI. Did I mention it has 973 pound-feet of torque at the wheels? Great googly moogly.

The Time Attack (TA) was a $16,000 limited edition option package for the 2014 SRT Viper. It was not available on the Viper GTS.

The TA edition for the 2015 model year was called the TA 2.0. The 2.0 part of the moniker refers to the updated aero package, which incorporates a bigger rear wing, new front dive planes, and a new carbon-fiber front splitter. The package improves downforce to 400 pounds at 150 mph versus the 2014 Viper TA’s 278 pounds at 150 mph.

The parts list is also nothing to sneer at, as the complete package almost has to reinvent the Viper T/A (Track Attack) from the ground up: twin Precision 72mm turbochargers (Optional 76mm Turbos Available), two Tial MV-R wastegates, two Tial Q Blow Off Valves, custom stainless turbo headers and V-Band turbo piping, and a custom front mount intercooler, and RSI’s own stainless exhaust.

But wait, that’s not all! In order to digest all of this extra boost, the Viper’s V10 is also completely rebuilt into a 528 Stroker beginning with a RSI-spec blueprint and balanced shortblock consisting of a custom crankshaft and billet connecting rods, a RSI camshaft, custom forged pistons with thick wall wrist pins and spiral locks, Clevite race main and rod bearings, billet main caps and ARP hardware.

All of this adds up to an amazing 93-octane pump gas-friendly 1,042  rwhp, or an even more bonkers 1,500-plus rwhp if running E85 or race gas.

RSI is undoubtedly one of the leaders in Dodge Viper performance, specializing in forced induction systems for this particular car, and their custom product development is all but unmatched.
