Bugatti Chiron – A Car Worth Waiting For

Bugatti Chiron, the successor of the fastest production car in the world, Bugatti Veyron, can be seen on the streets very soon.

Many people cannot wait for this moment, especially those who have at least 2.5 million dollars in their pockets.
At the press conference, the first people of Bugatti confirmed that the official promotion of the successor to the legendary Bugatti Veyron will happen in March 2016, at the Geneva Motor Show.
The supercar Veyron was produced in 2005 and they sold 450 of this car. Now, it finally gets its successor and there are bombastic announcements for it.
Although they did not released precise details about the performance of the new Bugatti Chiron, it was enough that they said that the car will be the most powerful, the fastest, the most luxurious and certainly the most expensive production super sports car in the world.

Knowing the facts about Veyron, we can completely believe in this statement by the VW Group, i.e. the first people of Bugatti. Obviously, the trust among the customers is really high. Although they still have not produced this car as a complete piece and therefore the potential buyers cannot try it, Bugatti already received 100 orders for the car.

Considering the fact that this car is more expensive than two million dollars, the fact that 100 people already bought it before it is even produced and officially presented, this vehicle is really something worth to be respected.
The people in Bugatti plan to produce 500 Chiron cars, 50 more than its predecessor, of course if we assume that the world economy will stay at least on the present level.

According to announcements, the engine that will be embedded in the Chiron is the famous, but modified Quad-turbo 8.0-litre W16 which will have a power of almost 1,500 horsepower and over 1100lb ft. of torque. It should allow a maximum speed of 288 mph and acceleration of 0-62 mph in 2.3 seconds.
The advanced seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and the four-wheel-drive system will be in charged to transfer all this power to the wheels.

We should also mention that besides the designer reminiscences of famous models of Bugatti, the name of the latest model is a tribute to the rich competitive history and the most successful Bugatti contestant of all times, the famous race driver Louis Chiron.
