The Ford GT is the ultimate Ford performance vehicle with ultra-efficient active aerodynamics, a supercar mid-engine, carbon ceramic brakes, 7-speed dual clutch transmission, carbon fiber body panels, carbon fiber primary structure, active torsion bar suspension, 600+ horsepower, and a 3.5 liter twin-turbo EcoBoost V6 engine.
The automaker says the American-made supercar will have “a starting price in the mid-$400,000s, excluding destination and delivery.” Let’s assume you’ll spend at least $450,000 to get into your GT.
Eight body colors and seven stripe colors are available, though Ford only showed six in the images released these days.
Ford says it will only build 500 GTs over the next two years, and you have to apply to get one until May 12. Thankfully, anybody can play with the online configurator.
