Meet RebHELL, 707-HP Hellcat-powered Ram 1500 Rebel ‘TRX’

Hellcat-powered Ram Rebel already unofficially exists. After waiting years for Ram to build a 707-hp pickup, a Mopar enthusiast decided he’d rather commission his own axle-snapping creation.

Posted to the 5thGenRams forum, user DieselDak (his real name is Charles) shared photos of his personal Rebel TRX build. The truck is based on a 2019 Ram Rebel and packs a 707-horsepower 6.2-liter supercharged Hemi V-8 under the hood. Swapping the Hellcat engine into the Ram was not a simple task.

Charles worked with the crew at America’s Most Wanted 4×4 in Holly, Michigan to create the truck. The shop had to remove the cab from the frame to fit the bulky V-8 in the engine bay without removing the supercharger. The oil filter needed had to be relocated, the fuel system was upgraded to properly feed the thirsty engine, cooling systems had to be upgraded, and the electrical system had to be tweaked as well.

Swapping the powertrain wasn’t the only thing Charles did to his Rebel. He installed the very first Fiberwerx wide body kit for the 2019 Ram 1500 (DT) trucks that were available to the public. That includes 4-inch wider fenders made from carbon fiber. Also part of the package, the wider carbon fiber bedsides give the Rebel a more muscular look while boosting ground clearance by 2.5 inches. That allows 37-inch by 12.5-inch Nitto Ridge Grappler tires on Method 701 Trail Series wheels that make for a meatier overall presentation.

The truck also features hand fabricated Rebel bumpers which are made to align the 4-inch wider wide body kit, Carven Competitor exhaust, and fabricated Dodge Charger SRT HELLCAT grille intakes.
