World’s Fastest Street Plymouth Barracuda – G-Force ‘Cuda

- in Cars

This 1971 Plymouth Barracuda nicknamed G-Force ‘Cuda is a one-of-a-kind street machine that not only looks great but pounds the pavement with world-class power and engineering. The idea was to create an ultimate street legal car that would handle 200 mph.

It took Johnson’s Rod Shop 3 years to built this custom 1971 Plymouth ‘Cuda. Every inch of this car, inside and out, was subject to complete examination and superb manufacturing and has been tested at speeds above 200 miles per hour by championship racer Scott Pruitt.

The car is equipped with a highly detailed hand-built aluminum 572ci motor producing a staggering 870 horsepower with NOS Injection. Big 572 Hemi engine has many modifications to provide 870 HP and power-to-weight ratio in this stunning custom ‘Cuda. The engine is a true work of art and is a testament to amazing workmanship.

The one-off chassis transfers power to the pavement with billet engine plates and a 6-speed transaxle. The G-Force ‘Cuda also possesses modern handling at high speeds while sitting on 20″ rear and 19″ front real knock-off Colorado Custom wheels, while Red Devil ceramic coated titanium brakes bring it to a rest.

The car maintains the classic ‘Cuda shape and proportions, but updated with modern mechanicals. Even though some styling cues are for aesthetic purposes, wind tunnel test showed that body panels were functional. Every single detail on this is perfect.

The interior is just as impressive as the exterior, as you can see everything has been custom built with no expense spared. From the amazing dash to a very unique shifter, cage and seats show that the interior had some serious work put into it.

This G-Force 1971 Plymouth HEMI ‘Cuda was sold for an incredible, but well deserved $588,500.
